Kaya Jewelers is a family owned business, founded in 1991. We showcase our exceptional quality diamond jewelry, exquisite gemstones, and divine precious metal designs in Portsmouth, Newburyport, and now online. Kaya combines the strength of quality and tradition with fresh new ideas and inspiration. Kaya has a GIA certified Gemologist, Diamond grader, appraiser, goldsmith, silversmith, and platinumsmith. Kaya’s team is well trained and educated in the latest jewelry technology, trends and designs. We have been consistently voted #1 jeweler for the past nine years by “Best of the Best” in the Greater Portsmouth and Newburyport Area. Kaya's team is also trained and educated in the latest jewelry technology like Cad Cam Designs And Laser Welding. With a foundation of trust, the Kaya mission is to exceed customer expectations; from customer service, product quality, and pricing. Our goal is to make buying or creating your jewelry piece a beautiful experience from a jeweler you can always rely on.

The Kaya Family

Owners Kerim Kaya and Belinda Buchanan met and joined forces in 1990, traveling the country and selling their own handcrafted jewelry to local shops. After a successful initial year of traveling the country, the two settled into their first retail shop in Portsmouth, NH the following year. Soon after they opened a second location in Newburyport, MA. Working side by side for five years, they made the ultimate commitment and married in 1996; solidifying the Kaya legacy. Today, the couple and other members of the Kaya family can be found working in the company store assisting clients, creating/designing jewelry or fulfilling custom work.
